Minimum criteria
For the “Sports” quality certificate, the following criteria must be met:
- Theft-proof room for bikes
- Daily updated weather information
- Free Wi-Fi
- Special sports cycling maps for sale or to borrow
- Drying room for clothes and equipment
- Laundry service
- Nutritious breakfast or self-catering facilities incl. list of nearby grocery stores
- Late departure / shower option
- Washing area for bikes
- Service corner (extra room for repairs with repair stand)
- Special tools available for free
- Contact to nearest specialized workshop
Other additional offers
In addition, at least three of the following services must be provided:
- Short-term accommodation for sports cyclists for one night
- Advice on choosing sports cycling routes
- Guided tours and/or riding technique courses with a qualified instructor
- Rental or hire of sports bikes
- Rental or hire of e-bikes
- Breakdown and pick-up service
- Charging station for e-bikes
- Cooperation with a bicycle workshop
- Wellness facilities
- Massage service
- Power-packed lunch
